This application allows you to browse the Patent Local Rules for five federal judicial districts with your iPhone or iPod Touch. No network connection is required, but if you are connected you can mail any rule or subsection using your device's built-in email application. The local patent rules for the following districts are provided: - Northern District of California Use the new built-in search functionality to find all references to a particular word or phrase, then tap on one of the results to see the text in context. There are now three search modes, selectable from the search screen: A) phrase - equivalent to the old mode. All search terms must appear in each result, in the same order as entered, with no interstitial text. B) AND - all search terms must appear in each result, in any order and location C) OR - at least one of the search terms must appear in each result Or jump directly to a rule by its number using the spinwheels. Where appropriate, this app has links to the following apps: Title 35, FRCP. FRE. Clicking links opens the appropriate text in those apps. Bookmark your most-often-used rules for rapid retrieval.
