Prowl: Growl Client

** Version 1.1.5 has been submitted to fix the crash on setting change. Sorry; patience please. :) **

⁂ Requires Growl 1.1+ on your Mac, or Growl for Windows or Snarl on your Windows machine. ⁂

Prowl is a Growl client. Notifications from your computer are sent to your iPhone or iPod Touch through push notifications, with a full range of customization.

• Push Notifications—When a Growl notification pops up on your computer, it's sent to Prowl over push and displayed on your iPhone or iPod touch.

• Redirections—Relaunch into a different application when you receive a push notification. For example, when an incoming notification is from your desktop Twitter client, relaunch into your favorite mobile client.

• An amazing API—Use the Prowl API, with libraries available in a multitude of languages and a simple API for those that it isn’t available in. You can send notifications from anything that can talk to the internet.

• Quiet Hours—You can specify an interval during which only the badge numbers are updated. Instead of getting a noisy alert, messages are quietly delivered. Optionally, you can allow emergency-level notifications to come through without problem.

• History—Up to 10 days of notifications are kept on the server. You can delete notifications that you don't want to see any more, or remove all of your history.

• Customized notifications—Only events you want are sent to Prowl. Inside the Growl preferences, you can set what priority should be sent, or how long after your machine has been idle the events should begin sending, prefixes to the notifications, and more!

• Send any message to your device—From the Prowl website, you can send any text to your device: links and phone numbers are automatically linked, so you can easily navigate around without having to worry about typos.
