Mouse Mote is an application that allows you to easily control your mouse pointer by simply tilting your iPhone or iPod Touch. Mouse Mote uses the accelerometers to transform slight moves on the device into mouse movements or arrow keys touches. The WIFI interface will enable you to control your Mac or PC at long distance. To save you some time with the settings we have used Bonjour, which will ensure that the application connects with the server, provided that both are on the same WIFI network. To start using Mouse Mote you will only have to purchase the application, install Bonjour and Java 1.5 or later (not necessary on Mac), and run Mouse Mote Server on you computer, which you can download totally free in the "Descargas" page of our website (www.himperia.com). Mouse Mote Server is programmed in Java, and despite being oriented to the Mac, it will also work on Windows and Linux systems with the necessary software installed (Bonjour and JRE/JDK 1.5 or later). IMPORTANT: The experience on Windows systems can be unsatisfactory for the user due to the JAVA machine implementation for Windows, so we recommend using Mouse Mote on a Mac. You can use Mouse Mote to wirelessly control your computer, as a control tool for your home theater while resting comfortably on the sofa, or as a really helpful instrument to give presentations.
